Why and how did Mr Aubrée-Dauchez become interested in AI? His motto is something of an oxymoron: "Disrupt Sensibly". In general, when it comes to new technologies, this company director likes to get his hands dirty. In 2017, he took an online course at Princeton University on Bitcoin and blockchain. In 2018, as his consultancy company, Koosai (koosai.co), has been an official Google partner for several years, he had the opportunity to take the certification entitled "Google Cloud Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals". Specifically on AI, his 2019 article was seminal; it enabled him to understand the evolution underway through a field that he has mastered and practised for 40 years, chess, and therefore to be able to extrapolate it to other less 'modelable' fields.

He recently wrote "Blockchain is to the commoditisation of processes relating to goods and services what artificial intelligence is to the commoditisation of human thought".

What is AI? Artificial intelligence that claims to be superior or equal to human intelligence. AI is becoming multi-modal and 'general' (AGI), which implies risks and opportunities.

In his research, Mr Aubrée-Dauchez has highlighted a battle of ideas between pseudo-optimists and realists, which he decodes using Max Weber-style ideal-types. For the expert, talking about AI immediately touches on economic, political and societal issues - in short, human issues.
